Edoardo Liberati delighted to join KCMG for Suzuka 10 Hours

2016 GT Asia Champion Edoardo Liberati is set to make his debut in the Intercontinental GT Challenge late this month, 24th/26th August, as he will share the KCMG's factory #23 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 car with Oliver Jarvis and Richard Bradley in Suzuka 10 Hours.

After a brilliant start in the Blancpain GT Series Asia this year, claiming a total of three podium finishes and a pole position for the Hong Kong-based team, the 25-year-old Italian racing driver aims to add to his 2018 haul of silverware.

"I am very thrilled to race in Suzuka. The track does suit our car quite nicely", said Liberati, "Last July I already took a second place there in a Nissan. The GT-R NISMO GT3 already produced a spectacular performance in the recent 24 Hours of Spa. I am pretty confident we have the speed to challenge for the top three."

"I am grateful to NISMO and KCMG", added the Rome-based racer, "I am delighted to be part of the team in Suzuka, joining two experienced drivers like Oliver and Richard".

Suzuka 10 Hours will mark the third out of fourth 2018 Intercontinental GT Challenge, following Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hours and Total 24 Hours of Spa.
