Edoardo Liberati 'Synthetics' Trio

‘Synthetics’ Trio is the new project led by guitarist and

composer Edoardo Liberati.

The idea behind the project is centered on the performance

of original material composed by the band-leader, strictly

inserted in a contemporary jazz context, contaminated with

Rock and Pop, genres of which the musicians involved are still

great listeners. The influence of traditional jazz and

post-bop currents is very strong, so that it remains central

both in the compositional and performative aspects.

The songs are composed with the characteristic sound and

shape of the guitar trio line-up.

The personal research of the three musicians is always aimed

to the creation of improvisation moments,

inserted in the song structures, following the ideology of

artists of great inspiration such as Gilad Hekselman, Lage

Lund, John Scofield, Brad Mehldau, etc.

Two years after the band-leader's last record (entitled

Everyday Life, published in 2022 with the special participation of Nico Gori),

Edoardo published the album Turning Point in 2024.

The work was presented with a tour in northern Italy and was included in

various summer festival programs. The official presentation took place in Rome,

at the renowned venue Casa del Jazz.

This album was featured in several radio broadcasting programs

such as 'Riverberi' (Rai del Friuli-Venezia Giulia),

'L'arpeggio (Radio Vaticana) and many more.

The album was reviewed by important journalists and music magazines.
